Silver Rails is a Saturday morning program on High Plains Public Radio with Debra Bolton and Lynn Boitano.  Every year, on the Satruday of Geography Awareness Week, these geographers-at-heart honor this week with geographically themed music and call-in show.

Geography Underground is the annual joint conference on geography education held by the the Kansas and Missouri Geographic Alliance.

The Sunset Zoo in Manhattan Kansas will be hosting two educational programs as part of their Science Communication Fellowship Program around using maps.

Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU), Beta Psi chapter, at Kansas State University will be hosting a campus wide geo-caching experience, one guest lecture program , and continued outreach to schools in the local area.
